What does COMP do?
COMP’s primary objectives are:-
- representing creators of original artistic and intellectual content
- securing individual rights in an original piece of work
- authorising the limited use of member’s content by third parties
- collecting and distributing royalties on behalf of our creator members
As a collective of songwriters, composers, lyricists, musicians and music publishers, COMP is authorised to license various organisations to play, perform and make available copyright content on behalf of our members and affiliated societies and distribute any resulting royalties to them in a transparent and efficient manner.
